We are a full-service Real Estate practice. We handle confirmations and deficiency claims. We also litigate and advise on contract claims, construction claims, quiet title actions, property disputes, nuisance claims, title policy claims and wrongful foreclosures.

Insurance Defense
Our firm assists and represents insurance companies and their insureds as well as self-insured businesses and corporations. Although we traditionally focus on commercial insurance claims, we also handle personal automobile liability. We have considerable experience defending claims involving many varieties of policies including, Property and Casualty Liability, Motor Carrier Liability, Commercial Automobile Liability, Personal Automobile Liability, Excess Coverage Liability, E&O Liability, and General Liability Claims.

Although we are experienced with a wide array of different kinds of claims, we have particularly strong expertise litigating several specific types of claims, including premises liability claims from negligent security to ‘slip and falls’. In our experience with both Commercial and Personal Automobile liability, we have handled everything from minor soft-tissue cases to wrongful death and brain injuries. We also understand the nuances of the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations and the additional exposure they can create for trucking companies.

Insurance Subrogation
In addition to handling Insurance Defense, Belle Isle Law Group also handles complex subrogation claims for our insurance clients when the need arises, and we are able to advise insurers regarding coverage questions and related issues.

Construction Law
Our firm represents owners, general contractors, subcontractors, suppliers, insurance carriers and surety companies. We represent our clients in matters ranging from the contract to the resolution of disputes through mediation, arbitration and litigation. We handle collection matters, contract termination disputes, insurance and surety actions as well as the filing of mechanics liens and foreclosure lawsuits.

Landlord-Tenant Law
The firm represents office, retail, industrial and tenants in reviewing and preparing lease agreements. When necessary, we handle evictions of commercial tenants.
